Privacy Policy

This policy explains how I handle personal data collected through this website and in the course of client work. The data controller is Marceli Kaczmarski, reachable at marceli.kaczmarski@inbox.eu. I process personal data in line with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the GDPR).

What I collect

When you use the contact form I receive your name, email address, chosen subject, and the content of your message. If we work together, I also hold billing details such as a company name, address, and tax number, plus the correspondence and files exchanged during the project. When you browse the site, limited technical data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed — may be logged by the hosting provider for security and stability.

Why I use it

Enquiry data is used only to answer you and to prepare a quote, on the basis of steps taken at your request before entering a contract. Project and billing data is processed to perform our contract and to meet accounting obligations under law. Server logs are kept on the basis of my legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure. I do not sell personal data, and I do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Who else sees it

Data may be handled by the providers that make this service work: website hosting, email, and accounting software. They act as processors under contract and may only use the data on my instructions. Where a provider operates outside the European Economic Area, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision. Invoices are shared with my accountant and, where required, tax authorities.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that don't turn into projects are deleted within 12 months. Project correspondence is kept for the duration of the engagement plus three years, in case of later questions or claims. Invoices are retained for five years, or longer if tax law requires it. Server logs are rotated within 30 days.

Cookies

This site uses one strictly necessary item of local storage to remember that you dismissed the cookie notice. It contains no identifier and is not shared. See the Cookie Policy for details.

Your rights

You may request access to your data, correction of anything inaccurate, erasure, restriction of processing, or a portable copy. Where processing rests on legitimate interest, you may object to it. Requests go to marceli.kaczmarski@inbox.eu and are answered within one month. If you believe your data has been mishandled, you can complain to your national supervisory authority — in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

Security and changes

Files and correspondence are stored on encrypted devices and reputable cloud services with two-factor authentication enabled. If this policy changes, the revised version appears on this page with a new date.
